Light Oak: A free travel and tourism icon collection for designers

I recon it’s about time I start handing out some sexy freebies around here.

Earlier I emailed a Ghana tourism representative with requested feedback on a new destination site for the Savannaland. One of my suggestions was to find social media icons that compliment the rest of the site’s design a bit better. Obviously I wanted to include a link to some examples, so I started Googling. I found some really nice icons, including a massive collection by Brian Hoff on the Design Cubicle. I did not however find a free set specifically designed and selected for travel websites (not with more than 7 icons anyway).

So I created this collection of 21 travel themed PNG icons, specially for you folk. They are one-size-only PNG files and may be used freely. Enjoy!
