New Chapter: March 2010

Change as good as a holiday

Yes, it has been a while since there has been any activity on here. I am writing this post as quick update to why this site has been so neglected, and also to give a quick peek into my personal life. This will be first (and one of few) personal post. I’ll keep it short

Aside from recently getting engaged to my girlfriend Megan, I have also taken a strong curve in my career path. I have been filling a new position from the 1st of March, and things have been everything but slow. Hence the lack of blogging.

As sad as it was to leave the whl.travel family, I had to swing my attention and time to the one skill and passion that I have been neglecting for the past year. Design.

So am I am happy to inform you that I feel both blessed, excited and challenged to work as a full-time designer for CityguideSA, (which is also the holding company for EcoAfrica and Fan I Am).

A perfect combo

Travel, Tourism, Online, Design = One effective and productive Peter.

From here on forward

As I’m getting back into the swing of things I will be pushing out some valuable content on the site. Lately there has been a great response from smaller businesses finding posts useful. I will probably keep focused on SMME eMarketing tips, but have a clear vision of providing more creative resources specifically for tourism businesses. (Such as the free icon set I recently released).
